Yep and Kriss Donald.

We know the name Stephen Lawrence as the media never stopped and the government put his awful mother in the Lords.

Yet compare the press levels between him and Donald. Just how many know about Kriss Donald even though he was murdered more recently.

This highlights the lack of coverage exactly

This month's newspapers at least?

It is an appalling tragedy and (taking a cue form the OP and reason for this thread) a cracking story that would sell newspapers and media feeds.

Your comments are wrong, by the way. Gorgeous, angelic and blond - it is precisely the story the media would normally have a feeding frenzy over. In the case of McCann, it's a mystery to solve and "neglectful" professinal parents the public can tut-tut over. For Soham, it was 2 primary school girls murdered by an evil nonce who worked at the school they were at and changed the way people work with kids forever.

But this? Why would a 30 year old woman stab another person's child? Perhaps complete strangers? I suspect the problem is no-one knows the motivation yet. If it was some love triangle revenge thing then the press mayhow an interest. But if it was e.g. mental illness, it's just some nutter who is on the fact track to Broadmoor. The only news-worthy issue is, as others have identified, the fact that she may have entered illegally, or may have a criminal past in her home country or other "immigration" connections that would cause the express and mail to pick this up.

Silver lining to the relative lack of attention - the family may be left relatively alone to grieve.

RTE seem to have zero coverage of the Emily Jones story.

But tons of other BBC type alarmist stories.

With all due respect to the OP, this is a discusting murder from the 29th MAY. I wholeheartedly agree that the MSM have convieniently buried this story as it doesnt fit in with its narrative & goes against the modern views that BLM & NOT, ALL Lives Matter.

RIP Emily

Shame more money wasn’t collected. Maybe some of the celebrities who like to jump on particular bandwagons weren’t more vocal on this.
I honestly can’t remember hearing anything about it

this week the Media seem to have nothing about the recent murder of Emily Jones.

But the newspapers are still banging on and on about their usual 'favourite murders'....often digging up stories from many decades ago.

and we pay money to these biased journalists ?

its not 'the news' its all just propaganda.

Exactly. How do they sell newspapers without 5hlt-5tirring. ? Meeja used to keep tabs on investigative work (indeed doing their own work and contributing to police efforts), but are now scum, in my opinion.

Just google what the meeja did to that Jeffries bloke during the investigation of the lady gardener

Doh!
A black man being shot by a policeman in Wisconsin is far more important than a little girls murder in the UK isn't it - not in my mind!
Both really important for different reasons though.
As are shootings - black on black generally- in Chicago every week - never reported by our media but it is a Democrat run City with a female, black, gay Mayor so best keep it quiet eh!
