I agree about not leaving until we're really in the mire as well.

The level of performance is worrying and there's nearly always a mid table team that momentum is against as the season goes on.

IMO Parish wont know whether to stick or twist. Interim appointment or not. Who will work with him and Dougie etc

has we won today we would have been at out highest points total since promotion...and some fools want him sacked!

madness...im pleased the schools open again soon!

Thanks for calling me a fool. Interesting that all Roy fans eventually just resort to personal attacks on other posters

I wouldn’t want this lot playing Bournemouth after watching them today. Every manager eventually reaches his sell by date at a club. Howe was last season. Roy was 5pm on 13th Feb 2021.

If Roy's team finds itself in the bottom three when it wakes up the next day then yes for sure, but it doesn't ..far from it.

End of season with a gratifying hand shake, yes.

83% of fans on the other forum would like Hodgson to depart.
They don’t appear to share braunstone’s wisdom / rose tinted spectacles (take your pick).

I personally don't thinks he wants Howe or Lampard as it would be quite easy to make that decision over the coming days could be wrong though .I did post on here at start of season that this would be a crucial time in Palace history as a rebuild is necessary from manager downwards.Need to get this right .It is a bit of luck but give the new man time and money and that will increase the chances of us continuing in premiership.

Fair comment. Out of interest, Where do you think our next point is coming from?

I think you're right but the question of how to replace him isn't as straightforward IMO. From memory Howe's attacking team managed one shot on target against us and he signed Solanke and Ibe for about £40mil.

He was also smart enough to sign Glenn Murray for £6m.

Never been one for Roy out, but that’s enough for me.

It’s not so much about the points, but equally about how poor the performances are.

Thank goodness I don’t have to actually go to watch this crap

Yes and pushed him on to Brighton because he wouldn't run around enough for him.

what other forum?

my main gripe is when opinins swing like a manic depressant week to week over a mangers tenure...judge things over a cumulative period.

if a managers MO for the season is the accrue enough points to stay up comfortably then dont hammer him for doing so.

if roy had spent £200m and we were in this situation in would think very differently.

roy isnt stupid, 40+ years as a elite level manager proves this...my boss wouldnt sack me if i had a bad month if i had delivered for the 4 years previous and i was going to hit plan for the year.

Sadly, I suffer more watching it at home on my own than I do being at Selhurst. There is no way Hodgson would have survived with a Selhurst crowd after the ending to last season and how we have capitulated in games this season or even in games where we have been awful but still picked up points? It has been dreadful watching us play for a long time now. I’m at a point as I was when Mullery was our manager many, many years ago of not wanting to watch Palace anymore. Then I could find something else to do but in Covid times it’s not so easy :-(
