Fair play and a sensible take.

Britain will rejoin EU single market as older Brexiteers die off, Ryanair - [Link]

He may well be right. I view closer alignment as somewhat inevitable. A geographical inevitability if you will. What shape that takes will be what matters.

There would be no contest so let's get back on topic.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

I view the breakup of the EU as somewhat inevitable. A political inevitability if you will.

I view development of the EU as inevitable, with an inner core opting for greater political alignment and an outer group not, but both remaining part of the single market and all the associated structures which support it. We would become members of the outer group.

Rejoining isn’t off the table in my world tbh. A bespoke deal for the UK which doesn’t force immigration or Dopey soppy rules is all that’s needed. A benefit to us and the eu I’m sure.

Something akin to the original EEC limited to trading matters only, without being part of some federal state, would be acceptable.

Exactly and you I would hesitantly say are more radical than me on most matters G. Clearly not the anti eu scum bags some have portrayed you, I and others of being.

I agree with everything Farage says in that video.

He is saying that the Tories have failed to deliver Brexit properly - just as they have failed to be a Conservative government in general. The left still portray them as some really right-wing government when they are hardly any different to how a Labour government would be.

Some of the EU Legislation was fine stuff, and dragged the UK into the modern world. Lots to be grateful for with EU 'red tape'. Don't chuck the baby out with the bathwater.
