Agree, reading the Roy out brigade comment that that the games were ‘lucky’ wins. However, when we lose its Roy’s fault.

Thought we defended well and deserved the 3pts

I admit there is some 'Daylight' but we could well lose our next 2 games, Home Wolves and Away Newcastle and the outlook might not look so 'Rosy'.

We barely keep a 'Clean sheet', and we have only won 1 of our last 10 games in all competitions and that was against Sheff Utd. Very worrying times.

I don't think you're really cut out for the clairvoyancy business, Willo.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

We're all but safe in my eyes.
Let Roy see out his contract, get someone new in, in the summer and rebuild from there.

La la la your mum

4 Points from ManUre this season. And they are second in the table.

How many ex-Palace managers can top that statistic ?

tonight's quotations from the telly :

Casper Schmeical....Palace are very well organised and well disciplined

Brendan Rogers.......... Roy Hodgson's teams are always very well organised and difficult to play against.

...more or less.

i still love Croydon-Roy.

maybe our tactics are boring at times....but that's good enough for this Eagle.

Above Brighton in the Table is always a nice way to end the day.

Have to agree with you. The man has been brilliant for us in terms of his loyalty and dedication to our club. Especially when you consider he's no spring chicken.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

He’s a class act. Up there with anyone we’ve ever had. We are genuinely a respectable premier league club in 2021 and this is all on next to nothing.

We battered them. Yes it’s Sheffield Utd but the gulf was enormous.

Why oh why would we usher him away from the club.

We're the Arthur over ere!

Whatever happens now, cheers Roy. The points per game is impressive enough, but the points per pounds spent on your watch is remarkable. You've shown dignity in the absence of the vote of confidence you are entitled to feel is yours by rights, and I sincerely hope that behind the scenes you are being shown the respect you deserve.

If we do move on from Roy, and if it does pan out well, with a new impteus, a new, bright chapter and all the things we'd all hope for, I for one will not forget that without Hodgsons experience and pragmatism the whole sandcastle would have washed away with the tide. He's kept the wolves from the door with one hand tied behind his back.

It is beyond question that Roy has done a good job at Palace. He was brought in to steady the ship which he has done.
His reputation was tarnished at Liverpool and he repaired it at WBA then left the England job under a cloud only to get respect back with us.
For his sake, now that we are mathematically safe, I hope that he announces his retirement at the end of the season so that he can leave with a good send off from the fans in the stadium.
Then if we have a manager lined up we can announce that too.
I hope that he doesnt go a season too long and retires with a sacking.
