Apparently 6 out of 10 Americans don't have 500 dollars in savings.

That's a very bad portent for the future.

Neoliberalism seems to be about wealth transfers to big corporations much more than it is about caring about small businesses and rising all economic boats.

This is the actual outcome of that 'Centralism' they think is so good.

Jesus that really is paycheck to paycheck. It’s the only way the dems can capture the votes as it make them reliant in many cases. Although back in the day I was there and worse.

The vast majority of the wealth in America and the west generally is in the hands of a tiny number of people.

Those people mostly fund the politicians and ensure that the above situation continues.

If I didn't try to keep the 'Funny' thread non political I'd have put it straight in there.

The worrying thing about that is that he was reading from an Autocue.

He was literally reading out Russian misinformation.

It's not even funny anymore. No way would he pass a test for Dementia. It's worrying that he's in this position. When it's worrying for his own party too, he has absolutely no chance of beating Trump.

If you think the powers that be will let trump back into the Whitehouse then you have not been paying attention

He makes late stage Reagan seem like Einstein.....and I remember just how ruthless the leftist press were with Reagan.

Not all. Some are clearly true, whilst some have been tampered with.

What is true is that the right wing media are scrutinising every second that Biden is public, jumping on any slip up and spreading it far and wide.

Which might be the destiny of those in the public eye but is hardly a rational way to assess anyone. Most of the real work is done in private.

Biden clearly has mobility issues. At his age that’s unsurprising. He is not an actor or an orator. His strengths lie behind the public persona. Trump is all persona.

Of the two I would take Biden every day, but then I would take almost anyone in preference to Trump. However as ensuring Trump is defeated again is the overwhelming priority Biden must be persuaded to stand aside.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

Trump has some good minds in his backroom team nowadays. I should imagine all this stuff is being studied. We all know the deal with postal voting.

Yeah, that might be because he is President of the United States.

I am struggling to watch his performances. They are that cringeworthy.

Only someone who is as deluded as you could justify his running for another term.
I can only imagine that there is a plan in place to stop Trump winning because Biden cannot win a fair election, and I'm sure everyone knows that, including his allies.

Anyone who attempts to down play the state of Biden is ironically, likely in the same condition as Biden. The exception being the inner core of the White House cabal and his family orchestrating the cover up. They are just dishonest and self serving rather than in clear advanced cognitive decline.

The same description could well be applied to Biden apologists on here who cite things like mobility issues etc.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.
