Oh yes topping the table again.

All but one long term.

It is a very significant Achilles heel for the club.

That said I am not sure we publish details like the other clubs.

And all the media can do is keep going on about Liverpool's so-called injury crisis.

It is inevitable that we will have more injuries than most given the age of our squad. However we do have a track record of signing injury prone players, and generally those players have spent plenty of time keeping Conor company.

So Zaha out for 30+ days. Is this the first time that information has been provided? Certainly the first time I've been aware of it, but that could easily be my fault.

What gets me is Leeds are in almost as bad a state with injuries as us and all that with a team that has just come up from the Championship. You wouldn’t have thought so though the other night.

It states those marked with a red dot are either 30+ days away from return or return date is unknown. Roy has certainly not stated an expected return date. As doombear said it does put the Scouse pundits' whining into perspective. When we play it is barely mentioned that we are having a proper injury crisis.

Here in Malta the commentary said Roy chose not to put any U23 players on the bench at Leeds as he didn't want them to think they were first-team ready when they are not. Did he actually say words to that effect?

I've not seen anything in the media and the U23 question has come up a few times now. But given the present situation it would be irresponsible to take players to an away game if you've little or no intention of using them and (I'm only assuming) there are probably logistical issues around transport and increased infection risk with greater numbers / mixing. I think most of the U23s used in cup games have been sent out on loan.

Newcastle have just lost Wilson,Schar and Manquillo with long term injuries.

Should have quite an impact of them.

Burnley without some key players

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

No he didn't. He said that he wasn't going to take youngsters up to Leeds for them to sit on the bench if he wasn't likely to bring them on. You might interpret that as their not being good enough, whereas it's more likely that Hodgson knew he had at least 3 1st team players on the bench he would call upon before he would consider a youngster, so why go through the aggro of getting youngsters tested so they could switch bubbles to go on a 400 mile return journey just to freeze on the bench for a couple of hours.

Anyone got a really good sense of our younger players who might deserve a chance in the squad/team?
