Very sad. My favourite boxer. His fight with Tommy Hearns was incredible.

That sucks, Hagler was a genuine all time great.

That's quite young as well.

Unbelievable. Thought he was indestructible.

Just six months after his old foe Minter died.

A top three all time best ever middleweight.

RIP champ

I watched the Hagler v Hearns fight in Blazers in Windsor.
What a fight and what a night.
Top bloke!

Ali aside, Marvin was my favourite boxer.

Marvin was based in Brockton near Boston where I have family.

My cousin John once bought some weed from Marvin back in the day, and said he was f*cked up for 3 days after smoking it !

RIP Champ - taken too soon.

More sad news.
What a legendary boxer.
I recall his fight with Alan Minter back in 1980, Minter of course another boxer who has passed away.

My thoughts go out to all the family and friends of Marvelous Marvin Hagler at this sad time. RIP.

That might go some way to explaining his premature death. We will never know.

A top boxer when the middleweight division was sizzling.

Really phenomenal boxer. A bit of a pre-cursor to Mike Tyson in brutal boxing style and fitness. Him and Hearns didn't ponce around trying to make the fight, and when they got in the ring, they didn't fck around

The Hearns/Hagler fight is up there with the best fights of all time.
