Ha ha, what a mess

40 odd years in the building trade, I've seen chimney stacks knocked down in minutes & new roofs stripped ultra fast.
Front of houses painted white changed to yellow & new plaster hacked off in minutes with a drill.
The saying was ' it comes off a lot quicker than it goes on ' !

Always a big risk being clever with trades.

It works the other way round too. Ten years ago I had a conservatory built by a general builder who didn't pay for it. His supplier threatened to come round and take it away but fortunately I know a bit about law and told him that he would be arrested if he did

Don't you have to pay for the skip first before they bring it round?

Probably more likely they overloaded it and that was the reaction.

That's what it looked like. Get a skip in Ireland and suddenly all your neighbours are your friends.

True.
its a funny situation, who owns the goods & on private property.
Also more complicated if you've paid some / deposit ?

I don't like it myself either. Bit of a dump is how I describe it. It's a good laugh on the piss for a weekend when you're young, that's about it.
