Quite rightly a runaway MOTM winner yesterday with 85% of the votes. His movement on the pitch is mesmerising. Silky, in Roy's words. He stays on his feet well although it's clear that our opponents are beginning to target him more now.

I confess I didn't know much about him before he joined Palace, but since he first played for us it was clear he was special.

If his development continues next season he'll surely be on some big clubs 'wanted' lists. Much more attractive than Zaha I would suggest. Calmer temperament.

Just hope we resist selling him for a long time yet.

He’s lovely to watch on the ball, just seems to glide by defenders.
The shoulder drop and shot yesterday were marvellous.
Can only hope that the freedom he’s allowed to play where he likes is important to him. It’s a shame the crowd haven’t been there to let him know how much he’s appreciated.

If he has a great season next year I think we will struggle to hold onto him.

This year has been a learning curve several brilliant performances with form dips in between. This is normal for young players I expect the big boys are waiting for him to add consistency then they will pile in.

One more point

TBF I think he is more than happy at Palace for now. Hope we have mega release clause.
First time yesterday I wanted us to pass the ball to someone other than Wilf, he really is a superb footballer and I have no doubt will become a great one (hopefully with us). England need to tie him down

We can keep him until he plays like that every 2nd/3rd game.

Currently he plays like that every 7 or 8, with a few good games in there and a couple of stinkers. He was outstanding yesterday and it's not unusual to see a player step up with a bit of inconsistency in their first season and then find it in the second. We've seen it with Maddison and Mount, if Eze does the same the sky's the limit.

When he runs with the ball, Eze is sublime. It's great to see him float past defenders like a feather.

But a downside is that he does none of the heavy lifting in midfield when we're under the cosh.

Because he is either unable or willing to tackle (he just dangles out a leg, risking injury and/or a card), his midfield challenges are invariably just tissue paper.

Yesterday, one of his flimsy efforts to win the ball gave away a needless free kick just outside our penalty area in a central position.

It is significant that, after being selected to start a match, he has often been subbed.

I hope he can become a more complete player, but if he hasn't learned how to tackle by now, will he ever?

He had a very good game yesterday, but in reality he was up against Championship standard players. People are going a bit over the top, he still lacks consistancy and as a previous poster said only in a handful of games has he stood out, not against any of the big teams.
As usual now people will expect that every game, lets see how he does in the 4 games remaining.
I am not knocking him, in his first season in the Premier he has done ok, but isnt the finished article, yet.

You make valid points about his weaknesses merganser. He is still young and has time on his side to develop and flourish.

He will become a great and sought after player of ours, hopefully for a few years yet.

I believe there is a 20% sell-on clause in the deal agreed with QPR.

Probably be gone during next season, much to much talent for us to hold onto he can turn games much better then Zaha ..it all results in us never being allowed to improve as a club like all the other teams outside the top six, very very frustrating.
