recon we got him for another 18 months.

i would assume now his value to palace would be not far off AWB money...that will only rise.

Showing great class,a truly prodigious talent showing maturity beyond his years, rather than than childish, petulant behaviour often shown by his fellow striker, who has recently been left in the shade.
Perhaps he cannot readily adjust to no longer being numero uno!!

Exactly right. Wilf's jealous.

On the ball he is lovely to watch. His one-touch passing is quick, elegant and accurate, showing a wonderful awareness of the players and movement around him. Against lesser quality opposition, he moves past defenders as if he's a ghost. Defensively, though, he looks almost the opposite: unsure of himself, awkward, and often late to the party.

With more playing time, he'll steadily improve at both ends. A year from now he'll be a hot property, and after two years I fear he'll be gone.

He maybe gone in a couple of years, but who ever buys him will have to pay a pretty penny for the privilege.

I believe there is a 20% sell-on clause in the deal agreed with QPR.

Good research Willo, thank you.

Thank you for the links which I had not perused before you included them in your post.

My belief that a 20% sell-on clause was included was clearly spot-on for which I am delighted.

Where my belief varies from your Links is in respect of the transfer fee.My belief is that it was £16 Mill rising to £19.5 Mill but this is not at great variance from the figures in the articles.

That’s twice now he’s run from his own half and scored. He ghosts through the opposition. His running style is so elegant he looks like he’s on cruise control. Pleasure to watch. Getting better by the game. When Wilf finds his wings again wide on the left we will be awesome.

Certainly against the blades we got some fine moments. Even Benteke was fired up and had some great moments. Just a shame Wilf was quiet.

Twice against possibly the worst Premier team seen for sometime. Let’s see him perform against some of the better teams, before everyone gets carried away.
It certainly won’t of done his confidence any harm.

I was thinking the same. However, he does seem to have had a freer role in recent games and is looking better for it. Will be interesting to see if he is allowed the same freedom by Hodgson in the remaining games and how he performs.

Knowing the way our esteemed gaffer operates, he'll be dropped
