Interesting idea, but, assuming he stays next season, where would Guehi play/fit in? I'd rather we got someone to replace Ward on the RHS of the back 3.

For me Guehi is first defender in the team. He often plays left, but he is right footed.

I don't know, but I'd assume you'd want the left and right CB to be a bit more mobile. And the central one to be bigger and better in the air?

Unlikely IMO. I expect him to be sold as I don't see him fitting the current Glasner set up.

That’s surely the Richards role with Andersen in the Middle and Guehi on the left of a back 3? Munoz right wing back and a new left wing back.

The difference Munoz has made has been incredible and with the same on the left hand side we can really bring Lerma, Wharton, Doucoure, Eze & Olise into the play (Not that Olise & Eze will both be here next season)

Shame. In the little bits I've seen of him he looked promising. Must be why I'm not a scout.

My view of him is no better than yours. I said what I did because from the little I've seen of our play since Glasner came in, I don't see him playing 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 too often, Also, Rak-Sakyi, when he's back may be ahead of Ebiowei in the pecking order.

However, Ebiowei is under contract until 2027 so the club may see something in him. We'll just have to wait and see.

I thought I read somewhere that Glasner prefers a big man up front like JPM.

We need another striker if we could get another JPM I would be happy as he could then rotate.

Sorloth it is then.

You jest, and I could be mistaken, but isn't he the only bought player we have made a profit on in the last few years. Probably since Bolasie

I,
I have similar doubts, Neillo. In any event, we are unlikely to spend the kind of money Arsenal will want for him and with Mateta stepping up as he has done in recent games and Edouard returned from injury, a striker isn't a priority in this window whereas a proven DM to replace Doucoure is.

Decoure will be back from injury next season, and we don't have a striker of his speed and directness. Palace could offer him game time, which is goldust for a young player. We've been after him for quite a while, which players usually appreciate

Stale clickbait. You would think West Ham might be interested as they are relying on a 34 year old Antonio, a finished Danny Ings, an expensive flop in Cornet or Bowen playing out of position. Brentford might throw their hat in the ring if Toney leaves
With the strides Mateta has made, Nketiah would only be an expensive backup anyways and we already have one of those in Edouard

Nketiah has speed and directness. Mateta has been great, and at last we'd be able to rotate our strikers

In fairness, he seemed to do well enough when he found his feet after he left us. I still wouldn't want him back, however.
