As an American, I never heard of this guy before. I would trust Textor's intentions way more than Blitzer/Harris, You've never heard of him before yet you place trust in him Originally posted by Wilbraham413
Blitzer and Harris are money grubbing snakes, based on their US sports ownership, and they seem to have contributed absolutely nothing to Palace. Try looking at the club's accounts before you make statements like that

Textor's investment is unlikely to have been directly for the purpose of transfers. I heard that £60m is to wipe out the debt accumulated during COVID and the remainder towards the 'New Stand'. Indirectly, the £60m sill presumably have enabled the club to have a decent (for Palace) transfer kitty this window.

Don't be under any illusions. Nobody sensible invests in a football club for the hell of it (t*** at Bright*n is the exception that proves the rule I guess). Our new investor is looking for a return, simple as that. He calculates that putting money in now will make him money in the medium/long term. So whether it funds transfers or builds a new stand (remember that?) it is intended to generate a return. We just hope it's a win/win then we're all happy.

It was thought a Zaha transfer was to fund the transfers, but that doesn’t seem the case.
