This morning, we were told that although boris an richi the chancellor had been in contact with the health secretary who has covid, and they had being "pinged" by the track an trace app, they weren"t going to isolate like the mere mortals, but were taking part in a pilot scheme to continue living a normal life! This could involve maybe going on holiday -and not isolating on return, as another pilot scheme could be put in place by said return date! However, due to an excellent rebuke from Jonathon Ashworth and twitter pressure(i"m not on it), about "one rule for them etc", they have done another u turn! They are now going to isolate like the worker bees are told to do! Sir keir says they are in "chaos"! Although i don"t like sir keir, I have to agree with him on this one! U turns galore, do as i say, etc etc etc, chaos indeed!

Obviously , he knows they have the working man in the palm of their hands, but still, shocking behaviour by the ruling classes!

It's so bloody hot. 29 here - the hottest part of the country. I have no air con in the car, obviously nothing in the house. Hard to sleep at nights. I've a massive hangover too. Everyone's down at the beach all day, only a few minutes from my house. Massive crowds. Lovely really, we're just not cut out for it here.
