I still think Yala could do a good squad job for lots of reasons. I also accept this comes from the heart and not necessarily the head. At the right price though he would be someone I would be over the moon to see back. Its a Palace thing!
Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that. |

Wouldn't work for squad cohesion. Only player I would take is Neil Taylor, very experienced left back. There will be times when we need to take Mitchell (and Hannam if/when he is PL-ready) out of the firing line.

Truthfully, do we need Mustafi when we have Kelly and Tomkins already kicking their heals? Sturridge could be a cheap option if he passes the medical. Brady is marginally the most attractive to cover LB and AM (i.e. Schlupp). However, Yala is the worst. Injuries, AFCON, age and need. Maybe Wilf would be even happier if he was in the squad? But he would have to join for buttons.
