I missed it then, but I don't remember it being there when I looked, that's age for you

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

The habit of parachuting party faves into safe seats is wrong whichever party does it, the decision should be made by the local constituency party.

When Claudia Webbe was forced into Leicester East the local Chairman resigned apparently.

To have Webbe follow the disgraced Vaz is truly political farce.

Why not focus on how many senior politicians aren’t linked by history to their constituencies and are simple ‘plants’. I feel sympathy for their constituents who were given a pig in a poke.

He couldn"t do a worse job than bodger, and more importantly bodgers cabinet, any new cabinet from any party would do better, even just a whole new CON leader with a new cabinet, perhaps Richi could stay, although he only shuffled the spoils on budget day, but the rest?

Yup

Apparently Miliband has, or at least had, a home in his constituency.

Similarly Sunak now has a home in his:

The 41-year-old Chancellor of the Exchequer, Richmond MP and a keep fit enthusiast has lived in the tiny village of Kirby Sigston, near Northallerton, since he became an MP in the region in 2015.

So at least they are trying to fit in ...

But note the LSE figures above, safe seat allocation is more primarily a Tory habit.

You do know this is the politics thread mate, and im just a journo like the rest on here? If we can"t critique the worst government ever, without someone suggesting we are suicidal, who can we critique?I know you are a true blue, but I don"t ask you to seek help, I just think you have been gaslighted by bungle and his ilk, but mate, don"t shoot the messenger!

You do think every ill is the fault of hmg though.
I really don't beleive this is the worst ever and you are in a great position under them. Many millions agree and will do again in 2 years time. If I were being affected by their actions alongside if I thought labour would be better I would agree but I cannot see that as true. Me and mine are who I am bothered about, selfish or sensible I don't really care!

Kind of you to keep a weather eye on me Spidey. Yes, all fine. Jacked in my job for now and have less ‘boredom’ time. But I do observe the virtual arm-wrestling on here.

Out of interest I looked at the Croydon MPs. Apparently Chris Philip is so clever he was advising the boards of FTSE 100 companies at the age of 24 without any obvious source for his knowledge. Yeh ….

Inside Croydon was outraged at him being parachuted in, especially given his business failures.

They have been in for 11 years mate, do you want me to blame Clement Atlees government? The real damage is still to come, higher tax, higher insurance, higher fuel at home , higher car fuel, higher food bills(if you can find anything you actually want), the list is endless! I do admire your loyalty though , i"m just a little concerned for the next generations future!

Well I admire you cynicism. Everything throughout history has increased in price. When I was 10 at school the scare was that by 2000 that bread would be 20 quid and everything else a silly amount. Clearly predictions that didn't come true.
Yours might not but if they do I would say its expected.
