Only a few weeks ago after a series of draws some on here were calling for PV to go, suggesting that RH could have done better.
Cue the present and two successive victories and lo and behold we may be able to win the next seven. Keep this up and I reckon we'll be in contention for a Champions League place, if not the title itself.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Let's stick to the good old mantra of taking one game at a time. Burnley will be tough but I am hopeful we will come away with something. Hoping for a win, obviously, but I'm expecting a low scoring draw.

Yes, we (well everyone really) are prone to lurching from doom and gloom to manic heights based ona few results. To me things are looking promising and a decent display over the games ahead is more than good enough. A draw is a fairly modest but not unrealistic outcome.

I don’t see why we can’t win all 7!!

If we keep holding onto the same psyche of ‘this is Palace’ we will always strive for mediocrity.

We are in a new exciting era let’s enjoy what we are seeing and feeling and expect to win games like we did during the promotion season.

You never know where the attitude would take us in time.

I think we'll be waiting a good while for a seven win streak, but I admire your optimism .

So would I!

I'm sure Brentford were confident of getting at least a point from their home game with Norwich. Chelsea at home to Burnley looked a home ' banker '.

While the next 7 games don't look as daunting as some of the games we have already played, expecting to win all 7 is the type of deluded thinking you will usually find on North Stand Chat.

We can go into these games with confidence and that's a huge positive.

Anyone CAN win any game, but we shouldn't start getting carried away just yet. We've just had our first 'back to back' wins of the season, and it's highly unlikely that we will extend that to nine wins on the trot. Nine in a row would be spectacular for any team, let alone little ol' Palace.

For starters, our defence is still not great at set-pieces/crosses, and teams will always have chances or half-chances against us (eg Jimenez header straight at VG on Saturday) and eventually one or two will go in to put us on the back foot.

That said, I can't remember being so optimistic about Palace's fortunes for many a year. I really look forward to the next game at the moment whereas there have been many periods in the past where I've dreaded it. All of a sudden the (numerous!) international breaks come as an unwelcome interruption, whereas in the past they've tended to be seen as a welcome relief.

exactly.

difference is this year, we actually look like we may be able to get back into the game if we go behind.

Is going to be an interesting run.

In theory we've got the hard ones out the way. But teams that sit in aren't always easy to break down, as we found with Newcastle.

Either way, we've not nothing to fear, and with Eze on the way back we've got another weapon up in our arsenal.

As was Citeh v us as evidenced by the crazy odds on offer. The PL is the best league in the world for the simple reason that anyone can beat anyone in a one-off match.

Yes, all 7 upcoming matches are winnable the way we have been playing in recent games but it is very unlikely that we will win all 7. We will do well to avoid defeat in all of them so something like 4 wins and 3 draws would be a very good return.

PS. I would love us to get the hat-trick of wins at the theatre of screams.

If we can beat City 2-0 at the Etihad, we could have won all 11 of our games so far.

The only game that matters is the next one.

I'd expect and hope that the attitude of the players is a lot more positive than that shown by many on here.
I know it's been a few years since we last experienced it but it's called optimism.

I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.
