We were in complete control then Broja takes a dive and wins a free-kick, JWP scores and suddenly their confidence returns. I think both teams are a bit fragile confidence wise and if we were to equalise it could easily swing back the other way. We should have been two or three up before they had a sniff. With Eze, Oliver, Schlupp and Bentenke on the bench we have options. Whatever you can say about Butland he has a huge kick on him which I'm sure Tekkers would appreciate if we need to go Dresden style at the end.

When things go downhill people on here quick to blame the ref! Not guilty, we are causing our own awful misdemeanours on the field. We are packing the defence to clear the ball but nobody about to collect a clearance, it is awful schoolboy kick-and-runaround stuff. A shocking example of PL 'football' - all 3 goals the only redeeming feature. We will lose this if we don't calm down

I’m hoping we can’t be as bad this half. Conceding two quality goals but we need to step up in midfield. CG’s worst 45 minutes. I’d like to see some changes in midfield and some passion. We are making them look too good and they are definitely not. A quick goal and we can go on and win. COYP

I’ve been following this football club for enough years that a defeat never gets to me but I feel genuinely angry after watching that first half which I never do. We were just awful in the last half an hour. Big half time team talk for Vieira.
