A Spurs mate who went was updating me throughout the game. He sent me a text after 20minutes saying zaha ďis not up for this gameĒ he doesnít want it at all.

Thatís a Spurs fan seeing his attitude and letting me know that Wilf seemed like he didnít want to be in the pitch after 20 minutes.

I seem to remember a certain Kane and ten of his team mates doing the same before Conte arrived.

Zaha is on £120k a week. Ronaldo earns 4 times that.
So we could have Ronaldo for one in 4 games instead
I know which one I would rather have. No brainer.

Iíve really lost patience with Wilf and have my own angry feelings. Everyone knows that Palace wouldnít be where they are without his contribution over the years. But does that make him a prima donna, someone who takes exception to a player having the audacity to even tackle him? Just what is he doing, what is in his head? It seems nearly every game, thereís a confrontation, with Wilf losing it yet again, often over what seems nothing at all! As yesterday, on a yellow card already, arguably a bit harsh, youíd think heíd have the experience and common sense to be careful, but no he pushes an innocent opposition player. Crazy. Up to that moment, Wilf had had a poor game anyway and this season, Iíd suggest heís been far from his best, as if his mind is somewhere else. Yesterday, he let down his teammates, coaches and fans. Andy Townsend rightly called him Ďstupidí. Of course, not for the first time his behaviour has caused problems. Some role model?
Personally, I feel the Club should fine him Ė give the money to a good cause. Neither would I put him back in the team, until hopefully he changes his ways. Maybe a lost cause already? Itís not as if heís being restricted in his game, because he has far greater freedom to do his thing under Vieira than Hodgson. So why the almighty chip on his shoulder, when he doesnít appear to get kicked as much as before. He must surely have had anger management instruction, or is he that proud, he doesnít know he has a problem? He calls it passion; Iíd call it pathetic. Somebody at the Club needs to make it abundantly clear that throwing his toys out of the pram to the cost of the team is not going to be tolerated.
The Club is bigger than Wilf Zaha. He doesnít seem to be enjoying himself and maybe still wants out. Iím so bored with his unnecessary tantrums, maybe time to let him go( other teams may well look at his behavior) for the best we can get and give someone else with the correct attitude a chance. If football generally is the problem, then heís benefitted enormously well from the game and Palace, he can change his life. His departure would be with some regret and memories of good times and his part in that, but enough nonsense for me.

Not even proper fouls like the old days. He does the whole wide eyed at the ref routine for being held and a bit of shirt pulling. Luxury player long since past his best. Eze and Olise in now please. And shift Rak Sakhi up from the 23s. Wilf too comfortable these days. Watford and Ward Prowse sussed out How to play Wilf 4 seasons ago.

I thought we started well and actually looked the better team for the first 20 minutes. Conceding those goals in such quick succession understandably knocked us back and then Zaha took it upon himself to end the match as a contest.

The first two goals were disappointing in the manner in which we conceded them. Until that point, when we were in shape and had players behind the ball, we looked ok.

As for Wilf...up until the time of his second yellow, his passing, control and decision making were the worst I've seen from him. He made it easy for Moss to send him off and can have no complaints. I think the game was already beyond us but that effectively put paid to any chance of a comeback.

We need to quickly put this behind us and focus on getting three points against Norwich.

Dislocated finger.
Possibly Covid positive?
Football doesnít seem to want to share who is positive.

People are getting confused with the offside rules. If the passing player passes the ball behind them, which he did, then it doesnt matter about where the defender is. Similar to a thrown in, where you cant be offside, you cant be offside if the ball is played backwards to you.

Not confused at all, the ball was played forward and Son was ahead of any Palace player, from what I have just watched. If he was not offside, there are many that should have been allowed over the last 2 seasons. Inconsistency at its finest. Seemed to be hardly a glance by VAR

The chap that Zaha literally hurled to the floor, wasnít he the one who did pretty much the same foul on Wilf in the same area of the pitch at Selhurst? Maybe even the same ref??
Itís all very odd.
Bottom line is Zaha has clearly lost his ability and fluidity to go round defenders. Every time he gets the ball he seems to slow up the attack nowadays which is very different to a few seasons back. Itís almost like itís not the same player. His passing yesterday was appalling.
Iím very concerned he has changed for the worse both physically and mentally.
He is so angry every game now. He has become a very frustrated player. Maybe his reducing performances are what are making him so angry and the anger is clearly affecting his performance and the team overall. He has become so disruptive.
He is in a very bad downward spiral and yet hardly anyone seems to be wanting to confront the issues.
The guy needs help. A lot of it and now. To continue to ignore his issues will not help at all.
To say we owe him is non sense. The past is behind us. We have to look to the future. We all do.
It could be Zaha needs a fresh start elsewhere. But I think his problems are far larger than just Palace.
The Club must address what has now become an upfront direct issue for the club and for Zaha.
Every game he is wide eyed and angry. It is affecting him the other players the fans and even football at large now. This cannot be swept under the carpet anymore. This needs attention and now.

We were the better team for 20mins, the midfield three dominated, ayew, and Eduoard held the ball well, Wilf was abysmal from the off, he gave the ball away for there first goal, got himself sent off, game over

He needs Newcastle to be our saviour, 10 to 1 at the moment, 250k a week and its goodbye
