Three points needed today, don’t care how we played, happy with the win. Happy new year all!

Half way through the season, 23 points. I will settle for another 23 from the second half, which would equate to comfortable mid table.

As it stands we are 9th with a zero goal difference. That is very reasonable at this stage of the season.

Or indeed at ANY stage of the season

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Am giving Ayew MOM for the simple reason of his constant running, defensive work & like Hughesy, always being available for a pass or tackle or drawing a foul.

It's close but I'd give it to Edouard who was involved in all three goals and covered the whole pitch.

Game was over at half-time and some of the players looked tired so second-half was a bit of a non-event. I'm glad it was Norwich we were playing. Important win and we move on.

You can only beat the opposition in front of you and we did that with aplomb!

In the second half we didn't work as hard, yet we still created chances. Players may have held something in reserve for the Hammers. MOTM? Edouard was fluid and strong, Hughes picked up the Gallagher slack, but Ayew's tireless effort and some brilliant moves would win it for me.

Hughes really is a Six Million pound bargain.. he was a star at Derby then lost his way @ Watford...but hey he will only get better.. I also thought Mateta and Edouard combined well together.. good for Mateta to score... and I’m sure he’ll have a part to play.. let’s be honest confidence comes with playing and scoring....
