Swindy So sad ! ----------------------------------------------------------------- Doris was one of my first Palace heroes and is worthy of the title "legend". I was at the Liverpool game and vividly remember the screamer goal. I may be wrong, but I think I can recall black and white footage of it. I think it was on the news later that night. I will have a look on Youtube and see if I can find it. Anyway, RIP Paul Hinshelwood and my condolences to your family. I hope CPFC pay tribute at the Liverpool game.

Can’t believe this, only 65. As a boy played against Paul and his brother Martin, the pair of them tore us apart. Will go down in Palace folklore. RIP Paul

RIP. Very sad. Younger than makes me, so even more poignant. Haven't seen the cause, but assume an illness. I always enjoyed seeing him play.
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Extremely sad news, great player. Paul's son Adam is doing a fine job down here on the south coast managing Worthing FC, who currently lead the Isthmian Prem by 7 points.
