No cutting edge at all.
No threat at all at corners,Brentford got their head to every ball.
Vieira clearly prefers Mateta over Benteke and I for one cannot fathom this out at all.
Zaha very disappointing and offered precious little but the same could be said for some other players.

well it was a awful game , we have played brentford twice both games was nothing to write home about ,

Edouard is not the striker that alot hoped , we had alot of the ball but no final ball , we have played well in last couple of games but not winning (dont include todays game) ,

just put it down as a bad day at the office for both teams ,

Well that's two hours of my life I will never get back. Can't blame Vieira, we dominated but are passing in the last third was just terrible. No link up, simple passes going astray, and our heading at corners was non existent. That's down to the players.

Would Liverpool have got that penalty?

Haha. Definitely.
Loved the commentary. ‘Would have been a free kick outside the area but not a panalty’ !!!

A valuable point, but as has been said we really should be getting three from this and the Norwich game. Uninspiring but unsurprising. All things considered, had draw written all over it.

I've placed a 'lay' bet on 0-0 for every Palace game this season and have made a tidy sum by doing so. I had a premonition or perhaps a fear about 0-0 today so I left it alone. I'm therefore obviously happy that I didn't put the usual bet on, but would have preferred a Palace win. A point is a point, but I tend to draw comfort from Palace's performances more than from their results....and today's was terrible. I just don't understand how we can have Liverpool at sixes and sevens for a sustained period, but can't do anything against Norwich and Brentford. It's 'typical Palace' I suppose.

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

I don't mean to start a Mateta moan but that was £10 million wasted which could have gone to buy a better but more expensive player. He is just too immobile, worse than Benteke. The final cross, from Ward I think, just needed someone to move towards it.

Would like Vieira to be honest and confirm what we all saw in his post-match interview- a dreadful performance. The only plus was the clean sheet.

Still toothless.

Edouard proves that my nan could have been a prolific striker in Scotland.

It would help if he was played as a striker and got some service.

I guess there's a fine line between home truths and demoralising the team. That and we have to honest about our level. A low bar perhaps but I'm just happy with every point right now as it means we'll be staying up and have room to breathe and build.

Happy with a point and a clean sheet - others will lose over in the Community Stadium.

Being happy with not conceding a goal from Brentford is like being happy not to find Mrs Brown's Boys funny.
