It's breaking news so no details yet but I would hazard this guess. RA will not be able to profit from any of his UK holdings they would be frozen bar living expense. So he might be allowed to sell Chelsea but only if the money is turned over to the government who would hold onto it until sanctions are lifted. Just a guess. One more point

So he might be allowed to sell Chelsea but only if the money is turned over to the government who would hold onto it until sanctions are lifted.

They cant sell anymore tickets for their remaining games, only ST Holders will be allowed to attend games & any tickets sold prior to todays announcement will be honoured. So, in theory, no Chelsea fans at away games, but, where there's a will . . .

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.

Perhaps says something about subjective opinions on the value of European lives over Middle Eastern ones.
