I agree, despite many of us thinking he isn't the Zaha he once was, statistically he is still one of the leagues top players. Joint 6th highest scorer in the league.

Looking down the list of the leagues top goals scorers he's probably the only one you'd be able to get or under £20m.

For my money Arsenal or Newcastle are the most likely destinations.

Under £20 million. Less than Chris Wood. You don’t rate aul Wilf much.

Not sure anyone has ever put him in that bracket of a goal scorer.

But regardless, he is a wide man who, pens or not, has outscored a lot of good players this season. Incl goal scorers like Vardy, Ings, Lukaku, Jesus etc.

yes he has i did say he has had a good season , we looked at Wilf as our main man for everything up front which he couldn't be , we do now have people who can score as well with supply , the more we trust others the more you can do that pass or score , we must stop this we need a 20 goal a season man , that is ok but how long do we keep them , I sooner haver 2 or 3 players that score 10 plus so they stay under the radar

I do, but Wilf has a year left on his contract. We'd be v lucky to get £20m

Wood isnt fit to lace Wilf's boots, but Newcastle paid a premium to take a fellow strugglers best striker

Cant see Wilf uprooting his family from South London to Newcastle ... its grim !. Another London club maybe but I hope not he is still our main man.

Agreed BJ. The only possible moves IMHO are to Arsenal or West Ham. He's unlikely to move outside of London.

Of course it is just early transfer gossip but if there was any truth in this from the BBC:

Leicester City expect Belgium midfielder Youri Tielemans to leave the club this summer and the Foxes are prepared to listen to offers of £40m for the 25-year-old, whose contract runs out in summer 2023.

Then of course Wilf is a better player and even though age is against him a similar value wouldn't be ridiculous with a year left on his contract

Arsenal qualifying for the CL could make it happen especially if Pepe leaves. They really should have gone big for Wilf instead of Pepe but I am very happy they did not. Even if Wilf wasn't.

Why not? We've already made a load of money from him in the Sale/buy back from ManU ?!

A season of using him is worth letting his deal run down.

if an offer that comes in is £20m of which a quarter of which goes to Man U then I agree

if it's £40m then £30m after Man U cut is harder to turn down depending on who the management think they can get to replace him

Initially i thought the same, however, he seemed quite keen to join Everton a couple of seasons back so who knows.

Hmm, how happy would Zaha be at Arsenal. They have not won anything since 2017 and the thought of playing from the bench in front of the library can’t be that exciting.

Not a chance. Wilf wouldn't play for Moyes.

He is staying.

Jackson.. Wan Bissaka.... Sansom.. Nicholas.. Cannon.. Guehi.... Zaha... Thomas.. Byrne... Holton.. Rogers.. that should do it..
