According to click bait we have reached an agreement in principle with Sainsbury's.

No news about the 6 houses but hopefully that is forthcoming.

Hopefully with that Marxist scouser relocated to somewhere like Wigan.

Great news for all those ridiculous fans who said it would never happen.

Let's hope we are still in the PL when it does.

I suspect it will take two or three years to complete as I think the club intend to build around the existing stand so that Main stand ST holders etc. can still use their seats during the football season. I suspect we'll be looking at 2027 at the earliest for completion.

Great to hear. Again, to the relentless pessimists and doom loopers, this is happening. Please do continue to post negatively though. I await the breaking of ground with ever increasing joy.

It is good news but we do still have to sort the house purchases, relocation of those residents and reach agreement with Sainsbury over that piece of land though. Dont get me wrong, In realistic terms I'd say there is very little to stop this now but the club is not quite there just yet

SP 'overjoyed' as well he might be.

One day he may be able to say 'if you seek my monument, look around you'

So the back end of 2023 will be halfway through the 23/24 season, and you think it'll be ready in about 8 months for the start of the 24/25 season.

OK.

In the perfect world I think you mean ready for start of 25-26.
I know itís not our business but part of being a fan is being kept vaguely in the loop. It would be good to hear how this will be getting funded.
I would allow at least 12 months slippage assuming everything goes to plan.
All good news in principle for SP plan.
