The Everton Crowd are ferocious- some of our players definitely intimidated. Shame, but the important thing is ‘we are safe’…so try not to be too critical

A good first half squandered away by a dismal second. Team is still a work in progress and far from anywhere near a finished product.

This is really disappointing, 2-0 up and had them right where we wanted them.
How many points do we squander late? PV has to sort this out for next season.

A bit naive by PV. Milivojevic a poor substitute. But Zaha cost us that third goal by giving away a cheap free kick in a dangerous position. Very poor second half performance all round really.

Ref didn’t help by ignoring any fouls on Eze and giving them everything to the extent he blew the final whistle before the extra time was complete on the clock.

I need to see that challenge on Eze in the box again which wasn’t even repeated on tv. It looked like he was about to pull the trigger when he was bundled over.

The amount of points we've thrown away from winning positions this season is staggering.

For all the credit we give PV he's got to figure out how we hold onto wins.

Top half finish now out of the question and that's something we should have delivered based on our general play over 38 games.

You can spin it any way you want but, out of the context of everything else this season, just this game, that is extremely 'muggy' to say the least, the very definition of 'melting'.

That stings, it really does but a damp squib to end the season was always on the cards. I am now fully expecting us to barely bother turning up against United.

I do hope for some transfer activity both out and in however won't hold my breath.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I tell you what.....I'm more disappointed by the performance of some of the so-called supporters in here than Palace's 2nd half performance! It's been an unbelievably good season all things being considered and all you can do is criticise the moment things don't go quite to plan. Everton were fighting for their lives while we had, in real terms, nothing to fight for. Despite that we were 2 up at half time in a hostile ground and in front until 75 mins. So what we lost in the end. We secured Premier League status with several games to go, reached the FA cup semi and have started to play really attractive football. Brilliant I say. Talk about glass half full, some people aren't happy even if its 3/4 full!

Significant.

When the going gets tough, there's a lack of composure.

Great first half.
Awful second half.

A lesson to be learned for next year. We got rattled in the second half and didn't have the nous to take the steam out of the game. Easier said than done but extremely annoying we didn't find a way. Hughes having to go off really didn't help us.

I'm currently very bitter but the Everton celebrations at the end were a bit embarrassing. Anyone would think they'd won the league.

Bloody hell, so annoyed.
