2nd and last test in this series against NZ. You certainly get a game with this bazball line-up. 210 runs to win with 9 wickets on the last day it could go either way, we are 1 up. Stokes declared earlier than he needed to, and followed on unwisely, he could not bowl himself. We will need a captain's knock I feel.

232 test matches have been lost by the side following-on and only 3 test matches have been won (including England v Australia, Headingly 1981 of course). I knew about the '3' and I looked up the other two stats.

When test cricket is good it's the best. Unforgettable match for NZ. Their 1981 moment. Great for test cricket and praise to NZ but I bet Stokes is kicking himself.
