How's your second career as a cricket pundit going, by the way?

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

Fortunately we were spared the fall of a wicket and having to watch Stokes trying to hit a six off every ball, being dismissed cheaply and exposing the tail to Bumrah.

Essex just pulled off an incredible catch. Fielder on the boundary caught a flat 6 and would have carried it over but he
jumped backwards over the boundary & threw the ball back to another player. If he'd been able to stay on the pitch it would've been Salt caught Pepper.
Well worth checking out.

'The batsmans Holding the bowlers Willy'.

Funny how cricket still throws up new things like Broad's nightmare over.

And "the batsman has been struck amidships but he's going to carry on. One ball left".

Haha that's good but my favourite is as follows:-

'The slow-motion replay doesn't show how fast the ball was really travelling'.

Another comment from the legendary Brian Johnston :

"This bowler's like my dog: three short legs and balls which swing each way".
