Palace TV commentary

Just watched the Millwall game 5-4. Been meaning to mention it for ages, but the commentary on Palace TV is terrible. It’s like 2 mates watching their mates play and talking about it from a very personal level. I think one of them is Mark Bright so I don’t like to be rude as I have a lot of time for him. Just not as a commentator that’s all.

Like many he was a hero of mine as a kid. He drives me mad as a commentator. He's constantly saying that players should have done this and should have done that like everyone is absolutely perfect it's infuriating. I'm sure we all do the same every Saturday but he says it in a really know all way.

Like many he was a hero of mine as a kid. He drives me mad as a commentator. He's constantly saying that players should have done this and should have done that like everyone is absolutely perfect it's infuriating. I'm sure we all do the same every Saturday but he says it in a really know all way.

I didn't see the Millwall game. I don't mind Bright's coaching "masterclass" when it is the U18s playing, but it wouldn't be appropriate when senior players are involved.

He is only saying what we all think. And providing useful info behind the scenes at the club. Does a great job in my view. Be careful what you wish for, you could have squeaky, screamy Vicki Sparks off the BBC / MOTD - unbearable, but 'right on' for the Beeb.

Be careful what you wish for, you could have squeaky, screamy Vicki Sparks off the BBC / MOTD - unbearable, but 'right on' for the Beeb.
