Digital Season Ticket - DIABOLICAL

Like many others in main stand H Block, could not get in with Google Pay Wallet on my phone. Had the same seat for approx 25 years and it worked ok last year. The season ticket automatically updated from last years and all was fine, it was there. However opened google wallet when queuing and it had gone, eventually found it in expired passes....but would not work. Was told I would have to go to get it re-printed. This was not an ideal option as my young son had already gone in with his season card which worked fine. Kicked up a real fuss and fair enough the Stadium Manager was called. She arrived in a couple of minutes, said I had no option but to get it re-printed. She did get a steward to look after my son while she escorted me to the front of the queue at the re-printing kiosk, so was back with my son in the ground within 5 minutes. What a fiasco! My little boy was a little bit distressed but was OK as soon as i was back.
No way should this happen!
As I said earlier happened to loads of people around me, and in conversation appears to be a problem with Samsung phones. One guy actually went to get his ticket re-printed but they couldn't as his ticket had already been re-sold!!!....so he had to be given a seat a few rows from his regular season ticket seat he has had for years.
I did say to the stadium manager that if we are forced to use this new technology, the least they could do is make damn sure it works as the failing is with the club and not us supporters. Glad this was 90 minutes before kick off so it did get sorted in time.
But it is DIABOLICAL

Loads of Arsenal in the Palace bit of the Arthur. So this resale of tickets malarkey will be blamed when trouble kicks off. In the meantime most frozen Arsenal fans dressed in black either left or were drowned by the Palace roar. Itís a very dangerous uncomfortable situation that the club need to reconsider.

Same in Main stand block G - same season ticket for couple years, worked OK last year, I got to the ground at 18.00 (I saw there were trains cancelled out of Caterham so got the earlier train) I renewed my season ticket as soon as it was possible & paid in full so they have had my money since before the last game of the previous season, insert phone, no access (I Phone) told to go to the information desk who looked confused, then told to go to the reprint windows, about 10 windows only one of them open, queue about 15 long & getting longer by the minute, the queue isnt moving so we finally hear that the only printer is being worked on (reprint office in the PL with only one printer) eventually a computer guy emerges, printer now working, another window opens & the queue begins to move - I got into the stadium at 18.40, I couldnt help but think what happens to those that stopped on the way for a few beers & arrived at the stadium 20 minutes to KO -

Same happened to me but I noticed this on Tuesday but mine had disappeared completely and no option to download agai, went to box office on Weds and the guy was really helpful but didnít know how to solve the issue. So he just printed me a card for the season. Pain as I will probably leave the card at home at some point in the season whilst itís unlikely I will ever not have my phone.

Total shambles, I got in fine, but so many peopleís tickets werenít scanning!! I felt so sorry for the poor old boy in front of me trying to get in, he sits near us as well, he drives all the way up from Somerset on his own, his daughter had sorted his phone out for him, but I could see his ticket wasnít even in his wallet, but he kept trying to poke it in the reader, the girl behind the jump didnít have a clue.

Same here. QR code scanned but showed up as not bought or something like that. Managed to show multiple confirmations of bought ticket to the steward who in the end took a photo of it so he could send the information of the, by now, group of people in the same position to the club and he let us in.

The club spent all day putting out on their social channels how well their ops team had done because they'd painted the sodding cladding to match JD Sports but hadn't performed their basic function. It's a Premier League football club, no event space would ever get away with that sort of chaos (Stade de France example).

It was known ahead of time that there were issues, there was zero training given to any of the turnstile staff on what to do.

If I was Parish I'd be deeply concerned by the performance of the staff at the club.

I was affected as well. My Google Pay on my mobile has been replaced by Google Wallet.

I had 2021/22's season ticket on Google Pay but now won't show up on Wallet. I downloaded my 2022/23 ticket onto my Palace App but it hasn't a QR/Barcode so I wasn't allowed in at the gate. I had to queue up at the box office to get a paper ticket.

Any suggestions how to download my 2022/23 season ticket with a QR/barcode onto Google Wallet ?

I found this and went through it slowly as im a bit of an idiot with comps and phones but it worked ok for me last night

You will need your email account and password.
Go to the Palace app on your phone.
Click your initials top right of the home page.
Click my account.
Scroll down and click manage my account under quick links tickets and memberships.
Scroll to the top and click your name (top right) a drop down menu will appear.
Click season tickets .
Click the square box next on the left of your ticket and the add to mobile wallet icon will no longer be greyed out.
Click the add to mobile wallet icon. You will have to log in with the email account you used. In my case google mail, which I never use.
The wallet symbol appears at the top with an arrow.
Your ST will no longer be in expired passes.
Foot note. This may have happened because the old ST was in expired and got updated.

When you say ĎI found thisí donít you mean your offspring found this?
