Oh dear, another sad loss of an iconic name in music history. The names of songwriters Holland, Dozier and Holland featured on so many great records. Thanks for giving me 'Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch' - a name I affectionately call my wife. RIP Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I remember from my youth and the days of 45 vinyls and seeing the names Holland/Dozier/Holland on the label of Motown records. I have just checked out their song writing history and it is even more impressive than I thought. An unbelievable list of hits. Good to see Eddie and Brian Holland are still with us though.

I remember from my youth and the days of 45 vinyls and seeing the names Holland/Dozier/Holland on the label of Motown records. I have just checked out their song writing history and it is even more impressive than I thought. An unbelievable list of hits.

Good to see Eddie and Brian Holland are still with us though.
