I opened the BBC Sport app this morning. On the football menu page was a photograph of a Moan U player applauding something or someone like a performing seal, with the headline underneath saying something like "I must blame the players for dropped points" - Ten Haag. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on it only to learn that Crystal Palace FC was also part of the story.

When England play someone crap you expect partial reporting from an English broadcaster.

You should not expect the same bias between 2 teams in the same division.

Thus, we score, camera focuses on ten hag. Not our players, bench or fans.

No, it's not. Far more satisfying to appreciate the positive aspects of an excellent Palace performance rather that get caught up in the negative static that fills the airwaves from the likes of Moan U.

You must live on a different planet!

Apparently United fans are now whinging that Olise's goal should not have been allowed because the free kick taken further forward than it should have been. Some complaining it was ten yards nearer the goal!

You mean that when a side get a free kick, they move the ball forward? Surely not?

PV's take on Will Hughes is hard to fathom - I don't think Hughes was a PV choice, more Dougie's, and he didn't play him last season for months - he can look great but maybe he can't sustain his form. Cudn't watch the game but by all accounts Hughes was great - so why does he get so few games? Whatever PV's reason are I'm sure they're sound, but I can't work it out at all.

Surely that's in the fine tradition of Palace players...although in fairness I can only speak for the last 50 and a half years!

Will, was great the other night, everyone seemed to react well , but he stood out. Problem is he has never been consistent, he looked really fit on Wednesday , he hasn’t always
and that alone may be why he has found himself playing bit parts. For Viera.
We really could do with him getting Wednesdays levels on a regular basis, as Viera ‘s hopes of relying on ,what on paper is a more creative approach is not working because it’s actually proved a bit spineless. If Will could get these levels more often it could be the difference.

The change from the tedious and risky slow passing to being more direct and trying to stretch the opposition was very welcome and we created better chances than United overall particularly the header Ayew missed completely.

The change in style also suited Hughes IMO but despite this I thought we lacked quality until Olise pulled his rabbit out of the hat.

United will be kicking themselves that they tried to be clever and sit on their lead rather than trying to put the game to bed.

Schlupp is a million times better from the bench when the game starts to get strung out.
