This is surely the worst Liverpool side for many years and we will never get a better opportunity to get a result against them, but only if we get stuck into them. Some of the players that they have been relying on for the last few years like Salah, Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold are nowhere near the levels they used to be. If we do what we did against Brighton and let them have loads of possession then we have no chance but if we don’t let them settle on the ball then there’s every reason to be optimistic.

PPP 2-0 to Liverpool inside 15 minutes, they don't need to get into second gear. We might just nick a goal with 10 minutes to go but even so they hold on without too many scares and beat us anyway. Klopp will say what a hard game it always is against Palace and Vieira will say what he always says. This is most likely, however there remains a chance that Liverpool completely smash us or we scrape a jammy result. It is the hope that kills you!!
