We just do not have the quality in our squad to do anything but continue to increase our winless run against such classy opposition. PV will make his usual post match statement, that we played and defended well but were unlucky against a top team 0-5

Our next three opponents Man City , Brighton and Arsenal are probably the 3 most in form teams in the division and all play in a similar way with lots of movement and switches of play to disrupt opponents and get them out of position. We are very likely to be outplayed in midfield in all three fixtures. I would be inclined to treat these three fixtures as a block requiring a specific set of containing tactics as we�re not going to outplay them. We will have had a week to work on this and I wonder if Vieira will move to a back 5 with Richards coming in. Our full backs would not be expected to be wing backs but be tasked with stopping their direct opponents whether that be Grealish, Mahrez, Mitoma, March, Martinelli or Saka. Having 3 centre backs would give us extra security with e.g Richards covering Clyne and Guehi covering Mitchell if the wingers get past the full backs. The extra central defender could also block the spaces and make us less vulnerable to long balls over the top to say Haaland. All three central defenders are comfortable on the ball so there�s no reason why we couldn�t build moves from the back. All three could also be used as a threat from our own set pieces . The approach I am advocating is borne out of realism rather than negativity. Personally I would be very happy with 2 points from the next 3 fixtures.

I'm inclined to agree but I would add the sentiment of 'winnable' comes more from the contrast to the sheer impossibility of us getting anything against the likes of City/Arsenal. I'm inclined to agree but I would add the sentiment of 'winnable' comes more from the contrast to the sheer impossibility of us getting anything against the likes of City/Arsenal.

For some inexplicable reason I have a 'Feeling in my water' that our points tally will be greater than the current 27 at the end of the next 3 fixtures.
