We will need a few wing backs so

yeah, think I mentioned several pages back when there were first reports of Hutter that he plays with wingbacks so if we do go for him, yet another reason to upgrade what we have.

Personally I'd rather have Slot

Whatever happened to player-managers?

How about Wilfrid Zaha, it would keep him here.

Then we could moan about Wilf-ball, inbetween retrieving the ball from the back of our net.

When Alan Ball was a manager did anyone call it Alan Ball?

Seems their incredible journalist investigative abilities can't decide if he is Swiss or Austrian

Apparently, according to Roy in an interview with Jordan on TalkSport (which I haven't heard, hence the 'apparently'), he (Roy) told the board that he did not wish to have another year extension.

I listened to that. Roy said he gave his intention not to start contract renewal discussions three months before the end of the season. Still doesn't mean that the club was ever interested in renewing. Roy could have just sent his letter first.

Doesn’t seem to be any solid update on Hutter, just rumours, nothing at this stage pointing to him taking over?

'Wayne Hennessey' was trending on Twitter earlier today.

Given his recent history with arm gestures, and the publishing of the name 'Adolph Hutter' in German/Austrian sources, linking him to the job here, there was a momentary mass joke making about WH wanting to come back.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

No. The main source for the news yesterday that he is going to sign for us is the usual quite reliable newspaper "Kurier", all other news referring to Kurier. Quite reliable doesn't mean that Kurier doesn't publish nonsense sometimes or that Kurier got information from someone who expressed his wishes or possibilities as facts. So currently no reason to celebrate or fall into despair.
