I wouldn’t mind Vincent Kompany

Can't see Kompany leaving Burnley given their current position. Think he has his sights on replacing Pep at Abu Dhabi City. Likewise with Carrick - could well find himself in East London when Moyes goes at the end of the season (or sooner). Although Lampard can claim some credit for keeping Everton up last year (together with us bottling it at 2-0) I wouldn't want him long term. Ditto Gerrard and Parker, so it doesn't leave a great deal. Maybe Parish should ask Tony Bloom at Brighton for some advice!

Anyone happy that Roy might come back needs their head examined. 99% of us were happy he went when he did. He joined a struggling Watford in 19th position mid January with the only remit being to keep them up using his experience of such situations... They managed 2 wins and 3 draws from 18 games. This is not the answer we’re looking for

We would be an ideal step up for him. He'll have a ceiling with Burnley in the prem next season, as do we but I believe our ceiling is higher. Inevitable budget to spend next season, good players to work with, 10 year premier league team and in London. It may not reflect well on his character to leave at this stage but would be a good move for Kompany coming to Palace. Definitely not a one way street

My own short term choice would be Paddy McCarthy. He knows the club inside out & He'd have a week or so after the international break to fine tune the squad.

Roy Hodgson is the perfect choice until the end of the season. We can’t win anything and it’s all about staying up. I’d rather put my trust in someone that knows the club and players, than take the gamble of a manger that will need time to settle in. Hodgson until season end is an absolute no brainer

Nuno for me definitely. He did a great job at Wolves and I think he could do the same for us. Tottenham was obviously too big a job for him but I think we would be a good fit for us.
