Zaha to score.

He has scored more PL goals against Leicester than he has any other opponent, with his 7 goals against Leicester coming in his last 10 appearances against them.

I am sure most of us, Willo, couldn't care tuppence who actually finds the net as long as someone does, preferably in duplicate.

Holding on to one nils is not lately our speciality and many of us really old-uns don't need the stress that it causes.

Hopefully I will reach the ripe age of 71 this year and tension that is high-volt crackly is not beneficial at my stage in life.

I am hoping to reach 83 next month, God willing, and I would not wish my survival prospects to be jeopardised by us conceding (or losing) in the 98th minute

Roy likes to play a 451 formation so hoping to see this team

GK Guaita
RB Clyne
CB Andersen
CB Guéhi
LB Mitchell

RM Olise
CM Doucouré
CM Hughes
CM Lokonga
LM Eze

ST Zaha

I can see the merits of this team which is quite well balanced other than Zaha as a striker, as in my view this is a not where he is best deployed.

In terms of Roy’s actual selection it wouldn’t surprise me if Schlupp was included and that it may well be either Olise or Eze to start as opposed to both; Roy knows Eze’s strengths and has been working with him over the last week whereas Olise has been on international duty and not involved in training.

This is 100% how I'd start. 3 CM's with the energy and ability to control the game. Giving Eze, Olise and Zaha the freedom to stay slightly higher.

If we need a plan B, bring on JPM for one of the CM's

A win is a win, whether 1-0 or 2-1 and we could all do with a winning start from Roy to boost morale!!

I can assure you that should we win, I will be grinning akin to a Colgate toothpaste model.

Don't think Andersen will be fit

Guaita

Clyne Richards Guehi Mitchell

Lokonga Doucoure

Olise Eze Zaha

Edouard

Leicester haven't kept a clean sheet this year and the first goal is massive. Let's get into them early.

The only justification I can see for starting Schlupp is if Hodgson wants to man mark Maddison.

Please NOT use Schlupp (the wanderer) to man mark Maddison. Like better to start with a solid midfield that in turn keep an eye on Maddison.

Agree with this however personally I would like to see:

GK Guaita

RB Clyne
CB Andersen (Richards if JA out)
CB Guéhi
LB Mitchell

RM Olise
CM Doucouré
CM Hughes
CM Lokonga
LM Zaha

ST Edouard

Eze is way, way off this season and unless that has dramatically changed I wouldn't be encouraged to see him start. I also want to see more of Ahamada too when possible (so would like to see him off bench).

I'd stick Edouard up front with 5 in midfield as his overall contribution would be less necessary and I'd hope it's suit him more to just try and get on the end of anything we may create.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

I'm far from Schlupp's biggest fan but he was at least successful when asked to man mark Bernardo Silva. Far more solid midfields than ours have lost control of Maddison this season, who is clearly their main threat.
