A Vieira choice he barely used.

If we are really struggling for money, Olina Aina RB, Ben Beriton Diaz CF and Adama Traore W, are all available on Frees, the 450k new income should cover the cost.

Ben Brereton has signed a pre contract with a la liga side.

I am not aware of this.If you know of the club perhaps you would be so kind as to reveal its identity.

Brereton Diaz is not a central striker, he has played out on the right and left but prefers playing in the latter position.

If Zaha leaves the first priority has to be to replace him.
It doesn’t necessarily have to be a direct like for like replacement as this would be very difficult to achieve, but we would need somebody who is capable of providing game changing moments .
I recall when Ian Wright left that we sought to replace him with Marco Gabbiadini.
He was a decent player with a good goal scoring record, but he was no Ian Wright and his failure to click seemed to have a knock on effect on the rest of the team.
Hopefully history wouldn’t repeat itself.

Other than that I think possibly an overlooked priority area is the full backs.
Our current full backs provide almost zero attacking threat with at most one or two overlaps and one or two (often inaccurate) crosses per game
They don’t support the attacks to create overloads which means it’s often easier for the opposition to double up on the likes of Zaha, Olise and Eze.
I do believe that pacy aggressive full backs would transform our attacking threat.

My understanding is that the deal taking Brereton Diaz to Blackburn from Nottm Forest was a fee rising to £7 Mill.

I have seen him play for Blackburn a few times and have not been overly impressed, but he is only young at 23 and might improve with more experience.

I wholeheartedly agree and I believe I have asserted on HOL that attacking full-backs would provide a different dimension in our build-up play.I have certainly expressed this view on numerous occasions in private conversations.

Naming other potential young players from elsewhere just adds to the list of youngsters we already have, with a number already out on loan.
The point Parish made, if I'm not mistaken, is to have a conveyor belt of up and coming young talent that challenges for places in the senior squad. A few are knocking on the door and I will be surprised if a couple do not make the leap next season, particularly given the club's finances, and a number of senior pros out of contract.
