He was playing well before the WC clocking up goals and assists and making England's provisional WC squad. Post WC he had been poor before Roy's arrival. He still hasn't shown he can produce in the games where we're the underdog, often disappearing aside from the odd flick or trick. If he is the difference maker in the games against teams around us then that is probably enough for us, but it would be good if he could find a way of getting more involved in the tougher games.
