Talk about a no win situation. If he refused because of his religion he was fecked but because he went he was fecked by his own community.
Like that copper sketch posted the other month.
Glad I’m a straight white male with no religious convictions who doesn’t give a feck and is just a minion

Was literally just about to post this!

Talk about eating your own, can see some more of this on the horizon. Everybody is offended by everything and their rules start contradicting themselves.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

There are a number of ways to look at this.

1. We live in a world where you are not allowed to have the 'wrong' belief. That is for sure.

2. Religion is not an excuse for prejudice.

3. Gay pride events are now passé since the vast majority aren't bothered about homosexuality, and they only serve to antagonise those who are less accepting.

4. A job that involves representing all members of a community has no room for personal prejudice, religious or otherwise.

5. Promoting homosexuality via such events, rather than just accepting it, does not serve the greater good.

Why?

I believe in our democracy. Even when I disagree with policy.

WE will remind you that only our elected representatives should be making decisions that affect us. The fact that Parliament agreed to hand the decision to the public - and honour the outcome - is irrelevant. (although I assume that if Parliament asked us to vote whether we wanted to go back into the EU, and we said 'yes', then that would be okay).

hats off to palace, they were always gonna be louder, and hate to say it but they were impressive ALL bouncing and singing.

No doubt.

It's a spurious argument since Cameron was our representative, and on our behalf he decided to have a referendum.

When the public agreed to join a free trade area in the 1970s, that is what they got. During the intervening five decades what they joined morphed dramatically to a political bloc and expanded beyond all original reasonable confines of common sense. The three main political parties all supported staying within the EU during this period. UKIP picked up on the public's disagreement with the country's journey and hence Cameron was forced into giving the UK a vote. Where we are today is successive Government's own fault for not reflecting the public's concerns earlier.
