I'd love to be proved wrong but I just don't see how a goalkeeper who is 5'10 is going to make it in the Premier League. Absolutely. It was Whitworth’s lack of reach (height) that was the main factor in him conceding the goal at Brighton. Anyone of any size would’ve made the save comfortably.

No it’s not. He doesn’t play left forward. He’s an attacking central midfielder. Wrong, Fraca plays anywhere along the attacking midfield line, and CF

Certainly not anti-Hodgson. But on the one hand you have an interview bemoaning the lack of numbers but there is little to suggest any youngsters will be used to add to those numbers.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The most reliable sources of information suggest he has played once at LW in the whole of 2022/23 season. Being able to plug a gap there doesn’t make him a left forward. Especially doesn’t make him a Zaha replacement…which he is not. Clyne and Schlupp play left back but they ain’t left backs are they. Ward can play CB! But the real question is, against the best players and in one of the strongest leagues, should they? I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s used out wide while he’s used from the bench to make an impact. But I don’t see him as a wide player. I see him as a central player. Edited by Hudsoneagle (09 Aug 2023 11.22pm)

It seems clear that the club want Rak-Sakyi to go out on loan to a Championship club ideally and O'Brien may be wanted by Molenbeek again in the Belgian top league. The plans for the better youngsters seems to be to get them game time in one of the professional leagues rather than have them sat on the bench in the PL. Had we brought in more players than we have so far, I suspect those two youngsters would already be loaned out.

Edouard 15 plus goals this season, from zero to hero, Parish values him at £90m to keep other clubs away.

Edited by Hudsoneagle (09 Aug 2023 11.22pm) Transfermart, CF 6 AM 5 RW 4 LW 2, i see him as right footed left winger, same as wilf, or as i would play him CF.
