If you are looking at it from an entirely financial perspective then you would keep Guehi as he is English and a lot younger. You will probably never get more for Andersen than you can at present, however I would say Geuhi’s ceiling for value has not been reached and won’t be for a year or so.

Personally I think 99.99% of what’s being reported and regurgitated is complete and utter nonsense. That includes the rubbish coming from Dazza. Let me ask you, based on the following reports… Andersen has been linked to Newcastle for over 4 weeks. Along with many other clubs. Roy has been so honest in his interviews that he’s mentioned Olise being coveted and he’s mentioned VG wants to leave and refuses to play. If any of these other long standing rumours were true, and the players were likely to leave, then why only mention Olise? The injured player who can’t even make the squad right now…I don’t buy any of it. He’d have more likely mentioned a player who was expected to play this Saturday. It’s all BS…for now. Let me add also, that the only player that TalkSport has suggested genuine interest in, is Olise. Now I’m not saying they are the fountain on knowledge, but it strikes me as interesting that the only player they linked away weeks ago is also the only player Roy has commented on. All correct but none of which stops me worrying Hudson Not just out of any rose tinted glasses or unfounded optimism, but genuine gut feeling and analytical consideration, I don’t think any other ‘big names’ will be leaving. There’s very little to grip on to in what very much feels to be the usual rumour mill padding.

Like the whole squad is about to ripped apart…not like it hasn’t happened before. But it’s Roy who has raised my optimism. His comments are direct and specific.
