Well, we will just have to agree to disagree.

As for comparing Packham with fruits, then I nominate him as the lemon.

I mean you can disagree that the sky is blue, that’s your right. Doesn’t make you right on this one though I’m afraid.

As for Packham, I will agree that he is indeed a bit of a lemon.

The sky isn't actually blue, it just appears to be. An illusion created from proton scattering, known as Rayleigh scattering. In this sense your illusion of an accurate opinion on this matter holds remarkable consistency.

Yep, Packham is a lemon: a bitter old lemon.....but nevertheless he's protected and supported by the mainstream.

Farage answers speculation that he may rejoin the Tory party.

Hardly a surprise I don't think the senior Tory leadership would want him.

Farage is a right wing Corbyn by which I mean he is good at protesting, leadership and policy making are another matter.

Still if it keeps the Tory MPs on their toes and reminds them that the rank and file are far closer to Farage than to them that can only be a good thing.

One more point

It's all about the battle post election.

Farage was obviously checking out his options and the Conservative party is very much a divided house.....Cameron's reforms to MPs and hence the leadership can't disguise that the base are continually holding their nose.

After the election it's going to be politically very bloody.

What’s indefensible is your inability to identify the clear difference between what fox said and what packham didn’t say.

I’m sure there is an example to compare apples with apples out there somewhere but packham ain’t it

Can you explain how something that does exist can be compared to something that doesn't.

I'll give you a clue, Fox's words ( exist ) to what Packham didn't say ( doesn't exist )

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

An excellent discussion on both the Tory conference and GBNews.

Well quite. The trouble is you're suggesting packham said something he didn't (say). Hence my point. I understand why it might be confusing to some.

So to help, below is my earlier post containing the actual quotes.
.
.
.
.
Yep, firstly you’ve misquoted, and added some of what the other guy was saying for good measure.

The actual quote for you

‘If we do blow up pipelines and we do get caught… we’re going to take a beating from the state’

Vs

‘I encourage them to tear down every single camera there is. I will be joining them to tear down cameras as well because I'm one of those people that puts my money where my mouth is… I will be out there with my angle grinder. I would encourage mass removal of the surveillance state... I would be happy to be arrested myself."

Maybe your grasp of English has somewhat diminished after years living elsewhere, but even without the context of the interview he’s giving those two quotes are, again, rather obviously not the same thing. One is a hypothetical the other is a direct call to action. I’ll agree that it’s closer than my earlier comparison, but it’s nowhere near the line.

Swap in ‘we’re going to’ for ‘if we do’ and you’d have a winner.

So once again If you can share a verbatim quote that matches the same direct inference as Fox I’ll happily agree.

Somewhat amusingly despite fox claiming he’d be happy to be arrested, it doesn’t seem to be the case. Maybe now he can use that silver spoon of his to pick the lock of his cell door.

Is BoJo joining as a presenter? I've just received a notification saying he is. lol.

I actually don't know that much about GB News surprisingly but am interested to see if there's any comment from posters on here?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!
