Don’t know much about him. It seems they played him a fair bit last season, wonder if ,or why they would want to loan him. Sell for an inflated fee maybe.

They paid over twenty million for him only about a year ago and he played twenty odd games for them last season. He's only 22, can't imagine him being that cheap.

I wonder if we need to sell Andersen or Guehi to fund signings in forward areas. By getting this guy in on loan we don't have pay until next season. Not sure why Laverkusen would let him go though.

I’ve looked into this player a bit and he seems a very good player. Very strong, has pace too. Definitely be able to cope physically in the prem league. Just under 6”3…but doesn’t score many goals at all. Was wanted by Arsenal for a long time.

Don't know anything about him but on the first compilation video I watched the first comment said last season he was bad and had injuries... therefore on that basis I reckon it's a done deal! Seriously though, I hope interest in a CB doesn't mean we're going to sell one of our starting CBs just before the season opener!

Unless Guehi or Andersen are on the move then I can't help but think how much of a ridiculous signing this would be, especially when we are so desperate for at least a half decent striker. Where would this leave Richards too? He must be thinking he's got no chance if this happens.

Think Francis was brought in as a squad cover for CB/RB. I agree he is not who we need, just click-bait putting 2 + 2 & getting Palace.

It means that when one of Andersen or Guehi go in the next 12 months, which is very likely, we have the ready made replacement and don't need to spend the cash until next summer. The alternative approach is the Rice one. Get the money in first and then get quoted wildly inflated figures which means you can't replace.
