The media see us as a retirement home for old wingers.

He has 3 pages of injury problems on Transfermarkt

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

With him alongside, Hazard, we are clearly seen as a retirement home for ailing footballers.

I would say less of a retirement home more a hospice based on Hazard and Draxler's injury records. Maybe they might rediscover their form and love of football in the arms of a well run family club, but as has been said elsewhere history would suggest otherwise (see Adebayor, Davids, Brolin, Flamini, etc.)

Indeed and those who do not learn the lessons of history are condemned to relive it.

I made the Brolin comparison elsewhere (and after you) but in hindsight that would be cruel. Even if Hazard was forced to play in a wheelchair he would still be streets ahead of the Pilsbury Dough Boy. The bench mark for crap buys.

Edit don't believe the rumours of Lukaku, Hazard or Drexler.
