What you got remember, sky are only interested in the top six, whoever they are, there cometary is bias, the pundits are bias, nearly all of them played for the top six, I suppose the top six is mainly where they get there money, so bias is enviable!

I am seriously considering cancelling my subscription, not just because of the above, but it’s all going seriously frown hill.

The assumed Freudian slip of “frown hill” is a very apt description of the current state and “place” to continue the analogy of Sky sports, and their pundits and commentators. LOL..!!

I love the fact that we don’t get bigged up by Sky and the BBC. Let Spurs have the spotlight, it always end in tears for those c***s anyway!

I am getting completely peed off with Sky - not because of perceived pro-top team bias but by the lack of personnel quality.

Commentators are apt to relapse into conversation with their pundit at the expense of following the game. The so called favoured 'pundits' on Sky Sports news are generally poor (Sue Smith and Clinton Morrison notable exceptions) Paul Merson is an opiniated disgrace unable to express himself clearly.

I mourn the passing of Jeff Stelling and Bianca Westwood - two 'naturals' knowledgeable, articulate with a great sense of humour.

Not that I see it because I was at the game, but if I did see it I can’t say I would’ve had any complaints. Spurs are top, new manager, no Kane. As a neutral I’m not sure I’d be overly interested in anything to do with us at the moment, although doing our usual holding our own, we’re not exactly setting the division alight.

As neutrals, I doubt any of us would be tuning in for an hours waffle on the likes of Sheffield United or Burnley zzzzz with respect of course

As others have said it all about top 6.

1. Top 6 club flying. "Let's enjoy some of their glorious football".

2. Top 6 club not flying. "Crisis at big club let's discuss in depth".

It is always so.

Consider from the broadcast perspective. Take the Silvertop clan. I married into a Red scouse family so I can't challenge their support for the Bin Dippers. However her sister married a Wiltshire lad born and bread and he is liverpool to the core. Goes to as many matches as a local. And he is not alone. Ask any bloke in a pub wherever you are who he "supports" and he will say top 6 club.

Sky are playing to who pays them.

Not sure what people expect... there was a recent thread whinging about the running order of MOTD.

The publics interest is as follows: 1) title race, 2) relegation battle, 3) mid table obscurity.

We're in section 3, so unless you're a Palace fan there's not much interest in us. Sky are catering to the masses, it's simple business.

Apart from the manager interviews, most of the pre/post game chat is dross anyway. Just turn it on when the game starts and turn it off at the end.

This has nothing to do with where we are in the table. If we were top we'd still get five minutes. Leicester got minimal attention until they actually won the PL. Even then I seem to remember all the talk was about the struggles of the so-called big six.

On TNT they at least had Murray in the studio for Friday's game who was very honest about us and came across well. He was very critical of our strikers though before, during and after the game. He has managed to retain and show affection for both us and Brighton it seems. Alongside him was Defoe who for some reason always seems to show a real dislike for Palace? I seem to remember him turning us down for Rangers.

Why is Sky so dismissive of the smaller sides?
There were twenty minutes of chat after tonight’s game, with the pundits, the Spurs manager and Son.
Not a single thing about Palace.
Before the match they showed the Spurs line-up first, even though we're the home team!
If Sky thinks only supporters of big clubs are worth catering for, perhaps they should charge the rest of us lower subscriptions.

They are not really. They focus on the interesting stories, the over achievers and the big stars.

We are hardly doing anything to deserve much airtime at the min.

99.9% of the global audience would rather listen to Son and Ange talk. And TBF even I don't want to see Ward rolled out to chat the same old rubbish about how we'll learn our lessons etc.

Anyone see Soccer Saturday when they went to the pre-match chat at the Emirates.

The 'expert' was Izzy Christenson and she was with a presenter called Natalie. This Natalie was very pretty and I'm sure she's Spanish and hosts shows over there. But the problem was that she struggled with her English and could barely manage a coherent sentance!
Surely there were better presenters, female or male, that they could've used who were much better qualified?!
