I have serious reservations about a result today. Burnley play very open and expansive football and have been turned over by teams with pace to exploit, something which we have absolute zero of anywhere on the pitch.

Well there I was hoping Rak=Sakyi woukd get a run and he isn't even in the squad

Usual story of playing for 0-0 and then throw Eze on for 20 minutes. Burnley have a wretched defence but we won't challenge them with Hughes and Schlupp as 'creators'

Not unexpected to see Eze on the bench rather than starting. I hope to see an improved performance from both Doucoure and Lerma now they’ve had another week of training.

I just don’t get the JSR love in. I know he’s only had cameo appearances so far but Roy sees him in training all the time. If he was good enough he’d play.

It will be same tactics up game second half but if we get something first half it's a bonus.

Roy is the same every week no one should be surprised by any of this.

I would like to see Franca and Eze on together only issues I see is again typical Roy will play one or both out of position or give them only 10-15min

I sort of agree he does get way too much love he has shown nothing but to be fair to the lad he is being treated/used poorly.

Roy yes the man who doesn't select his favorites no matter how they have performed.

So, it's the team I said it would be. Let's not forget that hey did play well in the first half against Spurs. A repeat of the solidity of that first half plus more ambition in going forward should see us take the points. I expect Eze to make an appearance if needed. If we're well in control, however, then Hodgson may keep him under wraps for the Everton game.

Exactly. Didn't take Roy much persuading to return to his preferred four defenders, three defensive midfielders set-up, playing gamely for a 0-0. Bah, wasted opportunity t start with even just one youngster.

First half against Spurs was good, but it always needs goals which we didn’t have .
That might not change unless he can get Eze on, it’s no coincidence we don’t score to many when he is not in the side. Good to see Franca, on the bench and involved, who knows if he should get on we might see what he is really all about, dare I say score.
