Watching Foest at home this evening, perhaps Cooper would be the right future choice I could say mischievously.
They seem as clueless at home as we do!

They're at home to lowly Everton but commit few players forward and offer little support to the striker.
Admittedly, they are without their top scorer and this does hamper them, but nonetheless you would expect more.

In fairness, Cooper had done a very good job getting them promoted and keeping them in the division, but I'm not sure he'd be a significant upgrade on Roy, at least in playing style.

Yep, it was dross. Wouldn't be surprised if they fire Cooper soon, which was part of the rumour.

Are Forest any good apart from Gibbs-White ?

I think they're sh!te and Hudson-Odoi particularly useless who many of our fans were tossing themselves off over.

They might just help us out of jail.

Ha ha, yes precisely. the common denominator is Steve Parish and his trusty sidekick Dougie Freedman. As Parish plays his version of PS5's Premiership Chairman Dreamteam, one day he will come to the realisation that the football he wants to play cannot exist under his ownership, if you don't have the ingredients you can't make the dish...

Elegantly put, we had more than our fair share of Managerial dissatisfaction under SP, it's usually because he cannot walk the talk when it come to transfer budgets and spending. We have only really had a settled Manager with Roy because at his age he has nothing to lose and lacks the ambition of a younger manager, otherwise he would have been off long ago by now!

I remember when Cooper was linked with us before (before we got Vieira), I read some comments from Swansea fans and they weren't very complimentary about him, despite getting them to the playoffs that year (football style was dull).

He did superbly with Forest getting them promoted. Not sure how they survived last year, and are in fortunate position (like the rest of us) that the 3 promoted sides look out of their depth.

Still not sold on him.

Nottm Forest were second from bottom on 4 pts from 8 games when he took up the reins and he got them promoted.

Quite a few managers have managed to get their team promoted however in the PL they have been found wanting.

Kompany got Burnley promoted with an attacking team playing possession football. However some of his best players were loans and in the PL smaller teams will not dominate possession so he has had to change tactics.

I wonder if teams that do not have a large share of possession in the Championship may find it easier to play in the PL?

My wish list would be Gary O’Neil come in (actually pep or Klop… a man can dream) But don’t see wolves letting him go. He can leave his bad luck with VAR at Wolves though thank you very much.

Will Still looks an immense manager. Not sure he’d come to us as I’m sure he’s hot property but I’d be offering this guy a wage he can’t refuse. He’s proved able to turn a team around using the existing players.
