We shouldn't be shipping 3 goals to a Dyche team at home.

This one's on Roy.

Totally agree - there’s no way we should be losing 3-2 against Dyches Everton at home with the resources we had available today..!!

Totally down to Roy - plays too many of favourites when they deliver absolutely nothing..!!

Plus losing to Everton and Dyche really hurts..!!

Raging..!!

I’m gutted.

There were moments in that game when I thought, blimey we have some good players and this is a great time to be a palace fan. But f@ck me… will we ever learn to close a game out. A draw and we move on. Now I want to kick the Mrs and I’ll be miserable for 2 weeks because the only thing worse than Palace losing is the bloody international break. Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrraaaaaaahhhhhh

Agreed.

The third international break and we are not even halfway through the season. Blooming FIFA .

Been obvious all season that teams attack our fullbacks.Cant get away with having these weaknesses in premiership.

You felt the writing was on the wall when we conceded in the 1st. minute FFS! And it ain't the first time. Can't close out either, when we we ever learn. I hope its a wake up call .

As usual with Roy there's no Plan B. The same old substitutions because there are no other options.

Really poor defensively. We were ball watching for their 2nd goal and Mitchell caught out ball watching and not going with his man for their 3rd.
It's becoming clear now that teams have clearly identified Mitchell as a weak link which he is.

Luckily there are 3 worse teams than us in this league who will occupy the relegation places. The board will be quite happy for us to be treading water from 17th to 13th which is where we will finish this season.

Ward does a lot of ball watching and two of the goals was part his fault not tracking the man watching the ball.

We desperately need left and right backs both are not good enough at this level as first team starters squad players yes.

Correct no Plan B

He does have options but how is bringing a player on at 89min good one the same with a striker who has scored 1 in 35 prem games with only 10min left.

20m+ Brazilian getting 0 min

We are hardly a relegation team stop being drama queen we are mid table team who has history of games like this messing up.

Funny because I thought we looked pretty good and cant believe we came away without 3pts let alone 1

Yep, some of the play in the first half was lovely. Then Olise came on and it looked like only one team was going to win.

3 chances 3 goals for Everton, we were well and truly ‘Palaced’ .. shame we lost but we have Olise and Eze back which is a huge positive!

Was a lazy, lackadaisical performance against a team we knew could only try to outwork us and swing balls into the box.

It seemed as though no preparation was done for this nor was it amended at half time or during the match.

Absolutely sh!t and ridiculous.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Sorry when did I say we were a relegation team??.. I said we will tread water between 17th and 13th.. Stop being a drama queen and read the posts properly.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Entertaining game today, but sadly we defended badly unlike Everton. Lots of mistakes by us at the back. We also desperately need a centre forward.

Many on this thread, including me, were hoping for a point foreseeing it as a difficult game which we could easily lose.
Everton are not the clueless team of recent seasons and have a good manager in Dyche and solid , experienced players like Pickford, Tarkowski, Doucoure, Guehi, McNeil and Calvert Lewin.
They are no mugs.
That being said, it could have gone either way and if we had a decent striker we’d probably be looking at a different result as we did create chances.
As it is, we can forget the myth of ‘Fortress Selhurst’ this season and have conceded 3 goals again.
Roy will not he content with that defensive performance, but sadly many players will now be on international duty which will disrupt work on the training field.

Olise came on in 69th minute. Franca isnt ready for the first team, whats the point of throwing him in. Olise was given little game time initially.
