As per my post on the Edouard thread, that's 6 PL goals out of our grand total of 14 scored by him. What this says about how we to set up and play the game I'll leave for others to comment on. Suffice to say that if the manager was a little more positively inclined and the board had invested in replacement full backs we'd be a lot better off. Edited by southnorwoodhill (03 Dec 2023 3.16pm)

Didn't our first goal at West Ham last year also come from them trying to play out and failing horribly? Good finish from Edouard. Chance for the defence to break their run of conceding again when we equalise. Three times in the last two! Edited by ambrose7 (03 Dec 2023 3.15pm)

We are labouring in possession but our best midfielders are out, and we are having to play a defender in midfield. On a separate topic, interesting that West ham midfielders seem able to trip our players from behind to protect the counter attack and only get booked on a one in three ratio. Even meatloaf did better than that. Meatloaf had more pace than Will Hughes too!
