I'm off home the players are not even interested and this system Roy has setup I do not blame them.

Travel up to Manchester to see the game, leave early when we were down 2-0, miss an epic comeback.

Grumpiness has its moments.

As you say,. No real option.
No let’s be super optimistic , the bus blocks every thing the best team in Europe, do for sixty minutes ,Eze comes on with four kids and City cave in..Parish and Co vindicated. Roy put through the ringer for his boring approach too the game.

Didn’t stop quiet everything , but he is renown for ikeeping in a game to pull a rabbit out of the bag, and long May he be doing it if he carries on managing us.. Roy , put through the wringer though as said. Not everyone ,but far too many still thinking him pulling off a result like that isn’t good enough .

You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.

Once all the excitement and relief have passed, then it can be said that we were poor for the majority of the game and got lucky. Nothing to do with tactical genius, we had about the same amount of possession as the Liverpool game (26%) and even less attempts on target (2). Perhaps tactical genius Roy Hodgson knew that we were going to turn it on with 10 minutes remaining, in which case I doff my cap.
A big yes to the youngsters who came on and staked a claim for more time on the pitch. A big yes for Mateta who kept going right to the end and a big yes to Olise for keeping cool and putting the penalty away.
A welcome point and perhaps Roy Hodgson has finally realised that it is not possible to score (goals win games) being sat deep in your own half.

JPM MotM. He held the ball up, showed some neat feet, scored and won the penalty through sheer determination. Based on that he has a real hunger to win the shirt and never gave up. Big ups for him. Olise also worked hard to try and make something happen in a tough game and what a cool head at the end for the pen.

Ozoh was excellent. He looked disciplined, aggressive and composed. He's looking like some player. Franca looked great and completely threw City who probably had no idea who he is! Surely he has to start getting more minutes now.

We desperately need Eze back soon though as we offered almost nothing for 75 minutes. Is anyone else getting a bit excited about Franca, Eze and Olise in the team? Too soon?

I say! What a spiffing turnaround and a well deserved result. One of those occasions when a draw feels like winning the Cup.

So pleased to see the youngsters making such an impact. Well done Roy and the team.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Poor to watch, maybe ,in real football terms restricting a team as good they are to two goals , can not be poor . As it happened job done.
In boxing terms we took their best shots and as they tired of not coming up with their own KO we floored them twice . More power to his elbow. Never play on other people’s terms , bog standard.

I was out all day and hear about the equaliser on the way home.
Sounds like we got a little bit lucky but after last week - who cares.
Something to build on at last because last Saturdays' performance was way better than the result.
I have always thought that Mateta was better than Edouarde so let's see what happens now he gets a run in the side.
Match of the Day will be worth watching.
On a different note - I do hope that the Tom Lockyer makes a full recovery - scary stuff that.

No argument here. Franca has been an unused sub for the last 6 PL games. Has a bit of class about him, looked very comfortable at his level.
